Pattern description from Interweave Knits, Spring 2006:
Ann E. Smith uses a caressing merino wool in this Guernsey-inspired pullover, a cropped and fitted remix of the classic fisherman sweater. The sleeves and body are worked in rice stitch overlaid with a central cabled panel. Border and cuffs in a subtle twisted rib pattern echo the cable accents. The stitch patterns are easy to memorize and straightforward to work, and the sweater knits up quickly on size 7 needles.

Finished Size: 34 (37½, 41½, 45½)“ (86.5 [95.5, 105.5, 115.5] cm) bust circumference.

Yarn: Patons Classic Wool (100% wool; 223 yd [204 m]/100 g): #210 petal pink, 4 (5, 5, 6) skeins.

Needles: Size 7 (4.5 mm): straight and 16” (40-cm) circular (cir). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Notions: Tapestry needle; makers (m); cable needle (cn).
