NOTES
-
This shawl is worked back and forth from side to side; three short-row sections create a curve.
-
The Cable and Fringe chart contains 17 stitches: 12 stitches in the cable pattern, a 1-stitch column of twisted garter stitches to reinforce the edge of the fringe, and 4 stockinette stitches that will be raveled after the knitting has been completed to create the fringe.
-
A circular needle is used to accommodate the large number of stitches.
