This was part of the ChoreoKAL project that came out in 2012.

Create a wide-hemmed brim with one color and continue with the textured body of the hat in a contrasting color. Knit more or less repeats for more or less slouch and top it off with a pom pom if you like! You can also substitute the hemmed brim with a few inches of simple ribbing and the whole hat could easily be done in one color for a simple, sleek look.
