Dianna
June 19, 2015: the document was updated with a better layout, chart and wording.
This might not be as good as gold, but I tried my best to come up with a pattern that would tell of how much I appreciate all that was given to me.
If it wasn’t for Dianna, this pattern would never come to be. To my very patient teacher, who helped me to learn to spin, this is my thank you.
Dianna is a shawl constructed from the tip up, can be done with any yarn weight (the one I used is my handspun in the color Arco-Iris) and any size needles.
The original pattern has 13 tiers, but it can be done with as little or as many as you want.
The shawl is reversible, the second photo shows the “right” side, and the fourth shows the “wrong” one.
You need to know how to do simple lace knitting stitches, like K2tog, P2tog, P3tog etc., and have knowledge of how to knit entrelac.
