“Ekubo” – dimples in Japanese – is a comfortable boxy pullover with loose sleeves. Almost all the body is worked in textured Ekubo stitch.
The pullover is worked from the top down. After casting on, the shoulders are shaped using German short rows. The front and back are then worked in Ekubo stitch, back and forth separately to the underarm, then joined to be worked in the round to the hem. Sleeves stitches are picked up around arm openings and worked from the top down in the round. The hem and cuffs are worked in 1x3 slip stitch rib, and all edgings are neatly finished with I-cord bind off.

“Ekubo” – 笑窪(えくぼ) – 袖がゆったりした着心地の良いボックス型のプルオーバー. 身頃のほとんどをえくぼ模様で編みます.
上から下に向かってトップダウン式に編み進めます.
作り目をし,ドイツ式の引き返し編みで肩下がりをつけたら, えくぼ模様で前後身頃を脇下までは往復編み, 脇下からは輪にして編みます. 袖は袖開きから目を拾い, 輪にして上から下に袖口に向かって編みます. 身頃裾と袖口は, すべり目を使ったゴム編みで, 縁編みはI-コードで綺麗に仕上げます.
