Elphaba is a top-down, seamless pullover with raglan sleeves, a scoop neckline, and a modified version of the Japanese Feather Lace pattern at the hem & cuffs. It is intended to be worn with 0-2” of negative ease depending on your fit preferences.

The pattern is sized for busts 29”(31”, 33”, 35”, 37”, 39”, 41”, 43”, 45”) and will require 3(3, 3, 3, 3, 3, 4, 4, 4) skeins Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light or approximately 845(880, 980,1060, 1200, 1280, 1380, 1540, 1630) yards fingering weight yarn. Note that the stated gauge for the pullover is after blocking. Please note that I have changed the number of recommended skeins of Tosh Merino Light. This is due to a yardage change on the part of their manufacturer--making the skeins 420 yd/100 g skein rather than the previous 440 yds

“Elphaba” is the name given by author Gregory Maguire to a character also known as The Wicked Witch of the West. Was Elphaba really a bad witch, or was she a casualty of the Wizard’s political spin?
