First Mate Pants
The pants are knit entirely in the round. Each leg begins separately with a crochet-chain provisional cast on, which is used to allow for knitted on hems. Then crotch stitches are set aside (to be grafted later via Kitchener method), then legs are joined to form the body, which is then knitted up to the waist.
I am providing two variations of the pants here: one is unisex and the other one is a bit more girlish, and each version can be knitted to any length you desire (shorts, long Bermuda style shorts, full length pants).
