Pattern Description:
Folha Luz is a shawlette knit in a heavy fingering weight yarn from the bottom up so every row you knit gets smaller and smaller as you go. Although it is a quick knit and is mostly composed of garter stitch, Folha Luz has a lot of elements at play during any one row so you will never be bored with it! It is a perfect accessory to layer on during the Winter months and to keep you warm on chilly Spring and Fall days.

Pattern includes 5 pages of written instruction and one chart, a schematic to make knitting the shawl easier, and tips on how to cast on, cast off and block. It has been extensively test knit (thank you to my wonderful test knitters!) and edited.

Size
Small: 67” x 7.75” shown in Cranberry Bog
Large: 70” x 8.5” shown in Winter Rye

Yarn
Fiberphile Merino Cashmere Sock 1(2) skeins or any other fingering weight yarn 400(500) yds Note: although the small size used only one 375yd skein, I only had a few yards left after bind off using a heavy skein

Gauge

6 st/7 rows in 1” of garter stitch (gauge is not important for this pattern, but it may change the size of the shawlette and the amount of yarn needed)
