The Garden Gate cowl features a never-ending swirl pattern on a colorful, shifting background. A bit of Kitchener Stitch grafts the beginning and end of the project together, creating a wonderfully-cozy cowl.

Keeping the yarns in the same order throughout the project is helpful. As you work, consider holding the CC in your left hand. This is also a fantastic opportunity to practice two-handed knitting!

Knitting Knowledge
This project is worked in the round, and uses the following techniques:
• Provisional Cast-On
• Reading charts
• Locking/trapping floats
• Kitchener stitch
• (optional) Duplicate Stitch

Notes
Be sure to lock/trap the unused/floating yarn every inch or so (in this project that would be 7 or less stitches). Also, take care to not lock floats on top of each other when possible.

When grafting beginning and end of cowl together, you have the option of adding a twist by rotating one end of the work 180 degrees. The pattern will still line up.
