There gloves are inspired by the Houses of Hogwarts from the Harry Potter books. There is also a House Unity version.

The gloves are knit in the round with a glitter thread held together with the main yarn for the cables. The House Unity version has intarsia cables, also with glitter thread. The letters are duplicate-stitched on afterwards.

You need two skeins of Superwash Safir plus a small amount of Glitter and Cotton-Viscose for Gryffindor, Hufflepuff or Slytherin gloves. The Ravenclaw version uses Opera instead of Cotton-Viscose. The House Unity version requires two skeins of white Superwash Safir, plus small amounts of red, green, blue, yellow and purple Superwash Safir or similar yarn, plus small amounts of gold, silver, copper and black glitter thread.
