Issa's Bloomers
Romantic and sweet, these delicate bloomers are quick to knit and perfect for layering under floofy skirts or lounging. Knit yours in a silk blend for vintage luxury.
Bloomers are worked seamlessly top-down with short row shaping worked at the seat. When the first leg is com- plete, the second leg is worked using held stitches from the hip section and picking up stitches at the crotch.
Bloomers are designed to be worn with 3-6 in/7.5-15 cm of ease. Garment in photograph has 5 in/13 cm of ease on model. Choose the size 3-6 in/7.5-15 cm larger than desired hip measurement. Measure at the largest part of the hips.
Lace edging pattern is given in both written and charted instructions.
Pattern has been tested and edited for accuracy and clarity.
