Jackson Square
Jackson Square is a shallow, crescent-shaped shawl that’s worked from the top down, beginning with a garter tab cast-on. The neat columns of twisted ribbing in the body flow into a lacy point-and-spear edging reminiscent of the wrought iron fences bordering Jackson Square in New Orleans’ French Quarter.
Finished Size (Smallest): 49 inches (124.5 cm) along top edge, by 15 inches (38 cm) deep at center.
Directions for the lace portion of the shawl are charted only.
Jackson Square is part of a collaboration between independent dyer French Market Fibers, designer Beth Kling and craftstress (you know, like a seamstress, only even craftier) That Clever Clementine (aka MsVicki).
The Jackson Square pattern will initially be offered exclusively as part of a limited-edition kit (which includes yarn, pattern and a project bag) sold by French Market Fibers. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jackson Square was available exclusively as part of a kit from French Market Fibers, but is now for sale as a stand alone pattern.
