Jaymie
Everybody needs a big cowl to snuggle up in around this time of year, right? This one’s mine. I saw a stylish-looking girl in downtown Beijing wearing a similar one, and couldn’t resist coming up with a cowl of my own inspired by it.
Jaymie is knit in a super-stretchy puffed rib stitch with lots of warmth and texture! The stitch pattern is reversible, and looks totally different depending on which side you choose as the right side, as well as whether or not you block it stretched. Best of all, the ribbed fabric means no curling at the edges!
The cowl is knit flat and then seamed so that the ribbing runs vertically, but could easily be adapted to knit in the round. Stripes are optional and you can knit as few or as many as you’d like.
The stitch pattern is quickly memorized and it works up fast, so you’ll snuggling with a cowl of your own in no time!
