Jeweled Cowl
Pattern updated on June 4, 2011 with a tip:
To avoid the beginning side of openwork looking stretched, I recommend you twist (=knit through the back loop) one stitch before doing/knitting the first yo every round. (Sample shown worked w/o twist.)
Jeweled Cowl is knitted entirely in the round with some bead/lace work. If you are not familiar with how to knit with beads in crochet hook method, please see some tutorials available online.
Or you might want to make a beadless version instead?
Pattern Clarification:
Round 2: Knit all, putting a bead on every skp st (of previous round) except the last one. (14 beads per round)
Jeweled Cowl was born soon after Japan earthquake/tsunami on March 11, 2011. If you enjoy the pattern, please consider making a donation to the charity of your choice.
