I made this pattern for an A. C. Moore knitting class I am teaching. I figured that if someone wanted to “learn to purl” in their first time knitting ever that it should be encouraged. I made another dishcloth/wash cloth pattern called My first knit so they didn’t have to purl unless they wanted to.
