Little Cupcake Pincushion
This pattern is
available for free.
Yum! This cheery little cupcake looks good enough to eat (but please don’t!) I used bright embroidery floss to give him sprinkles but I don’t even think I needed to - if you use pins with coloured heads they already look like real sprinkles! He’s super quick & easy to make and only uses a small amount of yarn - a perfect “stash buster” project!
Difficulty: Beginner Friendly - Suitable for those new to amigurumi
Must know how to work in the round, increase, and invisible decrease.
What you will need:
- 3mm Crochet Hook
- Small Amount of Beige Yarn (I used Rico Cotton Essentials DK in “Natural”)
- Small Amount of White Yarn (Wendy’s Supreme Luxury DK in “White”)
- Tiny Amount of Red Yarn (Three Bears Yarn Affection in “Red”)
- Blunt End Yarn Needle
- Pointy End Sewing Needle
- Black Embroidery Floss
- 6mm Safety Eyes
- Assorted Coloured Embroidery Floss (for the sprinkles)
- Scissors
- Stitch Marker
- Polyester Toy Stuffing
