Say hello to Mallow! I designed Mallow for last years amigurumipatterns.net design contest, the theme being “monsters”. Sadly Mallow did not place as well as I’d hoped. There were a lot of elaborate and brilliant entries and I think perhaps his design was a little too simple. He turned out super cute though so I’m happy, and now you can make him too! Feel free to make him your own, make him bright red, give him spots, 3 eyes, a tail, whatever! Let your creativity run wild and create your own special monster.

Difficulty: Moderate difficulty - Beginners may struggle with crocheting the legs together.

Must know how to work in the round, increase, invisible decrease, chain & change colours.

What You Will Need:

• 3mm Crochet Hook
• 100g Pink Yarn (DK weight, Aran/worsted would work too. I used Stylecraft Special DK in “Candy Floss”)
• Purple Yarn (Stylecraft Special DK “Wisteria”)
• Blue Yarn (Stylecraft Special DK “Cloud Blue”)
• 10mm Safety Eyes
• Polyester Toy Stuffing
• White Felt
• Scissors
• Stitch Markers
