This sweater has very simple and easy vertical lace pattern in circle yoke construction. I have used both knit and purl stitches in lace pattern so that it will have a unique three dimensional texture, like muscari flowers.

Both samples are knitted with worsted weight wool yarn. You can also use a summer yarn like cotton or linen for a summer sweater, or lace weight mohair and fingering weight wool yarn for airy texture, or any other fiber of your choice. If you have a different vertical gauge, please adjust body and sleeve length for your size.

Yarn

720(740, 770, 810)(860, 940, 1020, 1060)(1160, 1250, 1360, 1430) meters / 791(813, 846, 890)(945, 1033, 1121, 1165) (1275, 1374, 1484, 1571) yards of worsted weight wool yarn for long sleeves,

510(530, 560, 590)(640, 710, 780, 810)(880, 960, 1030, 1100) meters / 560 (582, 615, 648)(703, 780, 857, 890)(967, 1055, 1132, 1198) yards for short sleeves.

Sample: De Rerum Natura Gilliatt (100% merino wool; 250 meters/100g), shown in color Poivre et sel (gray beige) for long sleeves and Pavot (red) for short sleeves.

Needles

6 mm / US 10 / JP 13 circular needles as main needle, 5 mm / US 8 /JP 10 as smaller needle for neck, hem and cuff ribbing. Adjust needle size if necessary to get gauge.

Gauge

14.5 sts x 21 rows = 10 cm /4“, with main needle in stockinette stitch after wet blocking.

Notions

5 stitch markers (4 for raglan increase, 1 in different color for EOR), waste yarn, tapestry needle.

このセーターはとてもシンプルで簡単なレース模様を丸ヨークに使っています。レース模様の中に裏目と表目を両方使うことで, ムスカリの花のような, 立体感のあるテクスチャーにしてみました.

サンプルのセーターは, どちらもウールの並太糸で編んでいます. コットンやリネンの糸を使ってサマーセーターに仕上げていただいたり, 細いモヘアの糸とウールの糸を組み合わせて透け感のあるふわふわのセーターに仕上げていただくのも素敵だろうなあと思っています. ゲージさえ合えば, どんな糸でも編めますので, お好みの質感に仕上がる糸を試してみて下さい. 縦のゲージが合わない場合は, 身頃や袖の長さを編みながら調節してみて下さい.
