It’s going to be three years since I started updating my old patterns to bring them in line with my current standards, and I have now come to realize that some of them will probably never be updated, either because I have gifted the samples and cannot make nice photos, or I simply don’t have enough time, etc.

So I decided to let go of this idea and just allow those earlier patterns to be, well, my earlier patterns reflecting me as a designer at that stage of my professional development.

Instead, I am changing the pricing for those older patterns. They are now 50% less, and this is not a discount, but their permanent price from now on. You can purchase these patterns here, on Ravelry where I have grouped them into a separate bundle.

Happy crocheting!

This top is seamless and worked in two directions: bottom up for the top part and top down for the bottom part. Working in the top down direction for the bottom part allows to reach your desired length and turn this top into a tunic or a dress.

Please note that the bust line is intentionally high and is a design feature of this top.

Yarn Choice:
The design works best with light and soft yarn. The softness of the silk and alpaca by Malabrigo Silkpaca allows to make the folds drape gently.

The description includes:

  • written instructions for S/M/L sizes (to fit bust measurements: S 32’’-34’’ (80-86cm), M 36’’-38’’ (90-96cm), L 40’’-42’’ (100-106cm)
  • charts
  • formulas for adapting the pattern for individual sizes (from baby to adult).

Please note that the stitch pattern uses slip stitches and all stitches are made in back loops unless otherwise stated. If you are new to slip stitch crochet (in back loops), you may want to practice this technique before starting this project.

Yardage Requirements:
- 4/4.5/5.5 skeins of Malabrigo Silkpaca total.

The pattern has been professionally tech edited.
