I had lots of people ask me for the pattern I used to knit my 6 children their stockings, so I’ve now written it out for others to enjoy! (Instead of keeping my scratchings on my old abused piece of paper to myself!)

This Christmas Stocking is large, like my childhood knit stocking! It measures approx. 22” in length!

You can either knit it up Scrappy-Style and use up your small yarn balls, knit using the 2 colored directions offered in my pattern, or get creative and do your own thing!

I used Cestari Fine Merino for many of my children’s stockings, along with some O-Wool, but you can really use whatever worsted weight yarn you desire!

Grab your size 8 ~ 16” circular needle and your size 8 DPN’s and start making stockings that you will have as treasured heirlooms for years to come!!
