Sheherazade Beaded Lace Shawl
This lady is enchanting. Beautiful. Dark. Jewels sparkle in her hair. Star studded sky of midnight blue reflects in her eyes. Warm, spicy twilight fills the ornate walls of the palace. Starlight pours in the hall through the lace carved in stone. Peacocks show off their tails. It’s a fairy tale of her own. Sheherazade.

The shape of this shawl is what I like to call ‘crescent triangle’ knitted from neck down. Instructions for multiple sizes are included.
Both lace and stockinette stitch versions are included in the pattern.
The use of beads is optional. I recommend Japanese beads Toho or Miyuki in size 8. For the larger size shawl I used 784 beads.
It is possible to knit this in cobweb, laceweight or heavy laceweight and maybe even in light fingering yarn. The yardage required depends on the size chosen.
The pattern is fully charted.
Attention: CHARTS ONLY, there is no line by line description of the lace provided.
It is possible to knit smaller versions of both shawls, but carefully check yardage requirements,as smaller stockinette stitch version still requires circa 720m depending on the gauge, of course!
It is possible however to knit less repeats of lace or smaller stockinette stitch body for a smaller version than those pictured.
