Side slip cloche
by Laura Irwin
Additional yarn information: 2 x 50 g balls of Rowan RYC Soft Lux.
Additional needle information: U.S. size 5: 16” (40 cm) circular and set of 4 or 5 double-pointed. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Additional gauge information: 23 sts and 32 rows = 4” (10 cm) in rib pattern.
From the pattern description: I don’t use many novelty yarns, but the subtle sparkle in this blend makes it one of my favorites. Knitted tightly, it looks like woven fabric. Stitches are increased on one side to make the hat slouch. This is designed to be worn with the wrong side of the ruffles facing forward.
