Heather’s height is 170cm / 5’ 7” with a chest (fullest point) circumference of 107cm / 42”, and is shown wearing a size 5.
Yarn: Kelbourne Woolens Mojave (DK-weight; 60% cotton, 40% linen; 170m / 185yds per 50g skein)
Shade: Flamingo pink (669); 4 (4, 4, 5, 5, 6, 6, 7, 7) skeins
OR approx 540 (595, 650, 715, 790, 870, 995, 1050, 1155)m / 585 (645, 710, 780, 860, 945, 1040, 1145, 1255)yds of DK-weight yarn.
Gauge: 22 sts and 36 rounds = 10cm / 4” over lace pattern on 3.5mm needles in the round, after blocking.
Needles: 3mm / US 2.5 circular needle, 80-100cm / 32-40” length and 40cm / 16” length

Always use a needle size that will result in the correct gauge after blocking.
Notions: 4 stitch markers (including one unique for beginning of round), scrap yarn, cable needle, sewing needle, blocking tools
Notes: Soul Bird is knitted from the bottom up in the round to the armholes, then the front and back are separated and worked flat. Shoulders are sloped and seamed. The neckband is worked in i-cord. Lastly, stitches are picked up around the sleeve openings and worked in the round.
