A friend wanted me to design the perfect beanie for his winter collection; specific length, lightweight, not too loose, not too tight, but still close fitting. If you ask me, this is as close to perfect as it gets. It is a very easy project, suitable for a beginning knitter, still interesting enough for the intermediate one.
