This super cute beanie looks great on everyone and is perfect for using up worsted- or DK-weight scraps!

You will need to know the following stitches:

SC: Single Crochet - insert hook into stitch, YO and pull up a loop, YO and pull through the 2 loops on hook.

HDC: Half-Double Crochet - YO, insert hook into stitch, YO & pull up a loop, YO, pull through all 3 loops on hook.

DC: Double Crochet - YO, insert hook into stitch, YO & pull up a loop, YO, pull through 2 loops, YO, pull through remaining 2 loops on hook.

Sl St: Slip Stitch - insert hook, YO and pull up a loop, pull through 1st loop on hook.

JOIN: slip stitch in the 1st stitch of the round.

DC DECREASE OVER THREE STITCHES: Work a double crochet in the specified stitch until two loops remain on the hook. Keeping these two loops on hook, work another double crochet in the next stitch until three loops remain on hook. Keeping these three loops on the hook, work another double crochet in the next stitch until four loops remain on the hook; hook yarn and draw through all three loops on the hook.
