Alexis Layton is a Canadian knitwear designer that creates knitting patterns for accessories and the home.

Her Radiating Star Blanket Pattern is listed as a “must knit” in the September 2012 Issue 106 of Knitting Magazine.

Her Waffle Blanket Pattern is used as an example of simulating a turing machine by knitting in the MSc Thesis written by Heidi Metzler 2018 titled Algorithmic Complexity in Textile Patterns.
