On 27 October 2011 ‘Warme Handen Estlandse Wanten en Polswarmers - Warm Hands Estonian Mittens and Wrist Warmers’ by Carla Meijsen and Hilly van der Sluis was published. The book contains 13 patterns (11 mittens and 2 wrist warmers) and is written in Dutch and English.

One of my projects is Knitting in Japan, my Yahoo group in which knitters worldwide help each other to use Japanese books and patterns. I also am the owner of the Sampler M group, where you can find the patterns of an antique Dutch knitting sampler, Knitting in Estonia and Twined Knitting, a wonderful Swedish knitting technique.

I’m was one of the organisors for the national Stitch ‘n Bitch-Day 2006 and 2007 in November in Rotterdam.
