I have always had a love of anything crafty!
I learned to crochet as a teenager, but had only made afghans. Then in 2006 I wanted to crochet my daughter the Lilliana shrug. Suddenly I understood how to read those crochet patterns and finished that shrug in less than a week! After that, I crocheted more and more clothing projects.
I learned to loom knit in 2004 as I loved the look of knitting but didn’t know how to needle knit. I searched the web and found lot’s of helpful advice on looming and then started purchasing every loom and board I could. Soon after I started designing my character scarves. I’ve loomed socks, scarves, hats and purses and was just starting to learn to knit garments on the looms when I finally learned to needle knit!
That was in 2007 and I taught myself to knit watching the videos on www.knitting-help.com and have been having loads of fun knitting every thing in site and increasing my knowledge and skills.
The saying “You’re never too old to learn something new” is so true. If you put your mind to it, you can learn anything and have loads of fun doing it.
I hope you enjoy my crochet, looming and needle knit designs as much as I did when designing them!
