CrochetWawa
Hello there! I’m Michelle and thank you for stopping by.
Some of you may know me as SAHMigurumi, a word which i coined from Stay-At-Home-Mum (SAHM) and Amigurumi (the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting stuffed animals, people or objects).
I started in November 2013, making baby booties and only ventured into amigurumi much later. Fast forward one year later, I stumbled into the world of making dolls and was hooked ever since.
To spare you my long winded story, here I am with the birth of CrochetWawa. I am inspired to bring to you my own original 娃娃 “wawa” designs as well as patterns from other designers whom I have gained exclusive permission to translate into English. The original designers of these wawa dolls have written their patterns in non-English.
Upon seeking exclusive permission, they have been translated into English so that more amigurumi lovers will be able to crochet their very own beautiful wawa dolls. I hope that you will enjoy making them as much as I did.
