Many years ago (many years after I started knitting) I taught my left hand how to knit so I could do Fair Isle work. That left hand had a mind of its own: sometimes it simply flew off the needle; sometimes it simply “forgot” how to wrap the stitch. I was determined; I wanted to do stranded knitting! You can see who had the upper “hand”: me!
