My name is Nicole and I’m a crochet addict ♥

NiKiTa’s was born in 2013 in a gray almost dark moment of my life, this was not something I ever imagined myself creating or doing because until that moment, what I knew about crochet was… nothing!! Yes… nothing….When I was younger, I saw my mother making a few table runners (and yes, I still have them), but didn’t know much more than that.

Thankfully, You tube exists with so many artisans sharing their knowledge and ways of doing things. And not forgetting some colleague “friends” that taught me how to hold a crochet hook and make my first chain or my first magic ring (whattt?! Crochet have magic?! - that was my level of understanding at the time)!

Over the years, I gained more experience, read a lot, saw videos, made some workshops, checked other artisans. I did all of this to be better at what I do. Now it’s like an obsession and I can’t live without it, I just wish I had more time to do all the projects I have in mind but until then, I’ll continue to dream and grab onto what I love to do.

Crochet and other crafts keep my mind occupied, and that’s what matters. When we have time, our minds wander to less positive thoughts.

To make my story short, the gray moment ended up turning into a beautiful rainbow baby girl in 2018, my little heart who will one day become my assistant :)
