Looking back over my past, I can’t remember a time where my life didn’t include color, form and creativity. I’ve had a serious love affair with “making” things and capturing color for over 50 years. My biggest influences were the women in my family who are or were some of the best, skilled hand crafters I have ever seen. Though I need to acknowledge the talented wood craftsmen and photographers.

I started with knitting and crocheting, and it grew from there. Many times in my life these talents were all I had to get through some rough times. Now that I’m empty nesting I can live my dream of totally living a life of a fiber artist. Teaching, designing, dying, traveling and sharing what I love, hand dyeing, hand spinning and all things fiber.
