I have been knitting for most of my life. I fell in love with lace knitting when I first bought “A Gathering of Lace” and shortly there after starting putting together my own lace shawl designs. When some of my shawls were in a fiber arts show, some one asked if they could have the pattern for one of the shawls that I had designed (I think it was my first design). Unfortunately, I didn’t have it written down and couldn’t give it to them but that encouraged me to try to put them down in a reasonable form so that others could try them.
I have since started to sell a few of my patterns on etsy and when I found ravelry and discovered that they were willing to let me sell the patterns through them, I jumped at the chance as well as the chance to put out some of my simpler patterns for free to people who would like to try them.
