With only two rounds of crochet, these snowflakes are quick to make. You could give one to all your friends and family instead of a Christmas card.

Can be made from any yarn. If you use laceweight (1 ply) crochet cotton and hook 1.50 – 2mm, the snowflake size is about 7 cm (2½ in). From double knitting wool and hook 3mm it is 10-11 cm (4 in).

If you use cotton or wool, the snowflake can be starched. If you used metallic thread, it can be hardened using hobby varnish.
