My great-grandmother had crochet an afghan in a Log Cabin Design. When I used to quilt, I made several Log Cabin Quilts, it is by far my favorite quilting design.

Crochet 24 squares, assemble in the desired pattern to create your own personal afghan.

Hook: 5 mm/H Hook
Size per Square: 12”x 12” /30.5 x 30.5 cm after blocking
Afghan size: approx. 54” x 76”/137 x 193 cm

Yarn: Sport Weight – KnitPicks Brava Sport (100% Permium Acrylic)(273 yds/249 m per 100 gr skein)
Color 1: Wine 25671 – 3 skeins
Color 2: Dove Heather 25666 – 3 skeins
Color 3: Almond 26371 – 3 skeins
Color 4: Brindle 26376 – 3 skeins
Color 5: Cobblestone Heather 25667 – 3 skeins
Color 6: Cream 25665 – 4 skeins
Color 7: Sienna 25669 – 4 skeins
Obviously, you can adjust the overall size of this afghan, but it will change the amount of yarn you will need.

Notes:
To change colors: Work last sc of row until 2 loops rem on hook, leaving approx. 4”/10 cm ends to weave in. With new color, YO and draw through 2 loops on hook.
