Passap machine knitting instructions for a child’s zipped cardigan / jacket.

The sleeves are knit in interlock stitch (BX↔️/BX↔️ pushers alternately up and down) according to the colour sequence. The bodice is knit in “carpet pattern” (locks set at EX/CX, 2 rows with both locks, 2 rows with just the front lock which releases the loops).

The pattern calls for 490g “fairly fine wool” (500m per 100g): 400g green, 30g lilac, 30g orange, 30g violet, 1 open-ended zip

Test squares:
Carpet pattern : 100 sts = 33 cm, 200 rows = 7 cm
Interlock :100 sts=13,5 cm, 100 rows = 10.5 cm
