The 3-tier sweetheart skirt is a super swirly and girly skirt, perfect for the girly girls! The skirt is knit top down, in the round, with 3 increase rounds evenly distributed down the length of the skirt. It’s an easy and relatively quick knit, suitable for a beginner with some experience (the trickiest part would be the picot bind-off which can easily be omitted).

The skirt comes in two different versions, one with elasticated waistband and one with drawstring waist.

The skirt is knit at DK gauge, however, it can be knit in sport or fingering yarn at the same gauge. If choosing a thinner yarn, you’ll get a lightweight skirt with a nice drape, suitable for spring and summer wear. A thicker yarn will give a denser fabric suitable for colder weather.
