This cardigan features a fun bubble pattern (“Abuku”means “bubble” in Japanese) on the front body. Abuku is knit from the bottom up until the underarms. The sleeves are then knit together with the yoke. The bubble pattern is knit separately and attached to the body of the cardigan. Using a bright colored yarn will certainly highlight the playfulness of this cardigan and energize you while you wear it.

Yarn
Approximately 990 (1065, 1130, 1250, 1360, 1435, 1480) yards, 905 (970, 1035, 1145, 1245, 1315, 1355) m of sport weight yarn.
6 (6, 7, 7, 8, 8, 9) skeins of Quince & Co Chickadee (100% Organic Wool; 181 yards / 165m / 50g).

A US 5 (3.75mm) 24” / 60 cm (or longer) circular needle
A set of US 5 (3.75 mm) Double Pointed Needles (or needles of choice for working small tubes in the round)
US 3 (3.25 mm) needles
or needle to obtain gauge

Gauge
21 stitches & 32 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Stockinette stitch with US 5 (3.75 mm) needle (after blocking)

Note
Body is worked flat in one piece to the armholes. Sleeves are worked in the round to the armholes, then joined to body and yoke is worked in one piece with set-in sleeve shaping.
Textured collar is worked as two panels, grafted together in pattern and sewed to the front and neck edge.

前立ては模様編みで 2 枚編み、模様を合わせてはぎ合せ た後、左右の前身頃と襟元に綴じ付ける。
