Adam
This sweater was design in order to be a garment I would love both to wear and to knit. Thus it is mainly worked in the round and is entirely seamless –apart from two tiny seams to attach the edges of the collar to the yoke, I must admit. It has set-in looking shoulders and a few cables: just enough to keep you entertained but not enough to bother you or to slow you down. It is knitted bottom-up but for the ribbings that are picked up in the end so that you can adjust the length a little in case something went wrong.
I would suggest a 2-3”/5-7.5cm ease. But if you have any doubt about sizing, just pick a sweater with a good fit, measure it from armpit to armpit and multiply it by two to get the size you want to knit.
This sweater was designed to use Plucky Sweater by The Plucky Knitter. If you want to use another yarn, try for some DK or light worsted with a good stitch definition which will make the cables pop out.
