9/13/24 - I added a larger size as an addendum to this pattern. The size is 20’’ / 51 cm deep and 53” / 135 cm wingspan and requires 5 skeins of Paka Washi in 4 colors.

Sport weight yarn in 3 colors: 130 yds / 119 m A; 90 yds / 82 m B; 60 yds / 55 m C
Yarn used:
Ikigai Fiber Paka Washi (50% easy wash merino wool, 50% easy wash baby alpaca; 135 yds / 123 m per 50 g skein): 1 skein each of 3 colors
NEEDLES:
US 4 / 3.5 mm circular needle at least 32”/ 80 cm
US 6 / 4.0 mm circular needle at least 32”/ 80 cm
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
