INTRODUCTION
AF201 “Susan Joy” is a triangle shawl that is worked from the top down. Increases are made on the right side of your work. You will place two stitch markers at the center of your work to indicate the spine stitch. All odd numbered rows are the right side and the even numbered rows are the wrong side.

There is an option to make and add tassels or fringe to the shawl. The amount of tassels or fringe is based on how much yarn is left over. In the sample I had 0.4 oz left over and I made five tassels that were 3-1/2” long. I wrapped the yarn around a 3-1/2” card 30 times per tassel. I don’t give written directions on how to make a tassel in this pattern, but you can find lots of wonderful tutorials on YouTube.

Here is a link to a video I did discussing the requirements and modifications for this shawl.

As of 10/14/19- this pattern has not been test knitted.
