This pattern is also available as part of My Basic Collection - Book 1: an Eco-friendly e-book with 5 patterns (Mimo, Poveira, Afago, Equinócio and Eira).

Afago is a fancy collared cowl knitted bottom-up combining ribbing and lace. Shortened rows were added both for the collar and the bottom band adding a soft and graceful curvature for extra comfort.

More information:

Pattern Style: Full written out instructions with charts for the lace section as well.
Pattern Difficulty: Intermediate – long tail cast on, knit, purl, slip sts, increase, decrease, intermediate lace knowledge (there are no resting rows, the wrong side has increases and decreases also), short rows (I followed a very easy method explained in the pattern with a link to a video - it’s Priscilla Wild method), bind off, sew buttons and snap fasteners
Format Available: PDF
Size: One size fits most - as shown has 84.5 x 29 cm at the highest point (unfolded). Pattern can be worked with a different yarn being easily adjustable by casting on more/less sts and by and working a different number of rows.
Tools needed: tapestry needle, 4 buttons, 2 snap fasteners
