What makes this cloud cowl a true “cloud cowl”? The yarn!

The Rare Yarns Company is a New Zealand-based company specialising in creating exquisite, high-quality alpaca-merino blends. It is relatively unknown and very hard-to-find on the global scale, so I was happy to create this cowl to cater specifically to the yarns’ best properties.

The cowl is made by twining the deliciously soft and fluffy TRYC “Brushed” with the similarly-soft but structured TRYC “8ply Essentials”. It is the harmony of these two yarns, combined with the stitch pattern, that gives this cowl its characteristic little bubbly “clouds” of texture.

The 4 wooden buttons placed “just so” allows for maximum convertibility, thus allowing you to adjust the cowl to suit the weather and your outfit.

You can buy the necessary yarn in your choice of colourway via my Pattern Kits, sold on my Etsy shop (https://www.etsy.com/listing/121155787/knitting-pattern-k...)
