This is a generic pattern for socks to fit the American Girl doll. The AG ankle and foot are rather wide and flat (respectively) and these socks may not be right for other 18” dolls.

In a laceweight yarn these socks can be worn with any AG shoe; the fingering weights will only fit inside the more stretchy shoes.

The pattern gives the foot shaping first, which is the same for all the variations. Then several variations of the upper sock are given. Of course, you may use your imagination to create your own leg pattern!
