To complete this pattern, you should be able to make the following stitches:

CH chain stitch
SC single crochet
HDC half-double crochet
DECR decrease

The strawberry and cherry in the photos are just ideas you could use to embellish your own cupcakes. Instructions for these are not included in the pattern.
