My daughter and I have enjoyed playing with the spider toy and singing The Itsy Bitsy Spider song. I’m also planning to make up a bunch of these guys for decorations for my favorite holiday -- Halloween!

I used a pet slicker brush to get the “hairy” look on my Itsy Bitsy Spider. Information on the brush and the technique for brushed crochet are included in the pattern.

User tip from someone who completed the pattern: Push pipe cleaners through the legs before sewing up your spider to make him pose-able! Great idea, huh? THANKS missilebird!
