Amigurumi Striped Tiger
When finished, this beautiful tiger will be 11” tall, 6” wide“, and 12” long.

Required Skills:
• Color changing
• Create a magic circle (or magic ring)
• Crocheting in a round
• Decrease stitches (invisible decreasing is used for this project)
• Detailed embroidering
• Detailed shaping
• Increase stitches
• Sewing pieces together to form the doll
• Single crochet
• Using fine yarn
• Using soft, bulky yarn
Materials Needed for this Project:
• Size H/8 or 5.00mm Crochet Hook
• Size K/11 or 6.5mm Crochet Hook (for facial fur)
• Yarn Needle
• Stitch Marker
• Scissors
• Safety pins
• Polyester Fiberfill
• Worsted Weight Yarn (I used Red Heart Super Saver Solids--1 skein for each color)
o Orange (or “Carrot”) for head, body, arms, legs, and tail
o Black for stripes, mouth, and tips of ears
o White for mouth, circles around eyes, inner ears, and belly
o Baby Pink for nose
o Green for eyes
• Black Fine Yarn (for outer part of eyes--1 skein)
• White Bulky Soft Yarn (for facial fur--1 skein—I used Caron Bliss “Snow”. From what I have researched, they have discontinued Caron Bliss. However, you can find skeins of this yarn on various websites such as Ravelry and Ebay.)
