Inspired by those cozy old time aran cable sweaters, I designed this cowl in the hope of giving some of that super beautiful texture to the neck area, an Aran cabled neck warmer makes sense right?

Size:
Folded and relaxed is about 13 inches wide by 9 inches tall.

Materials and notions:

I used 175g (250 meters) of Drops Nepal, Alpaca mix, the yarn specifies a 5mm needles but I like to use larger needles to give the heavy fabric with cables to produce a lighter weight fabric.
US 10.5 - 6.5 mm 16inches circular needles
Cable needle or double point needles.
Tapestry needle.
Stitch marker.
