PATTERN INFORMATION:
A textured, vintage feel, arbour day themed square celebrating Arbour Month ( September ) here in South Africa.

This is the month we are encouraged to plant indigenous Trees. My contribution was to plant a White Ironwood Tree and a Cape Holly Tree.

This square measure 22cm x 22cm ( about 9” sq ) and works up really quickly. Experiment with contrasting or harmonious colourways to make a bespoke coverlet in any size.

Join multiple squares with a Flat Braid or Celtic Lace join.

YARN: Stylecraft Special DK but feel free to use any yarn you prefer with the corresponding hook size.
For these 2 x squares, I used Lincoln Green, Mocha and Parchment.

HOOK: 4mm

SKILL LEVEL: Advanced Beginner to Intermediate
