Archer Scarf and Shawl
Gradients transition along a long arrow shape for a fun scarf or dramatic wrap. Two ombré colourways are worked in a simple intarsia pattern. Tassels dangle from each of the corners.
Worked in garter stitch, on the bias, the shawl/scarf is cast on at the fletched end of the arrow and worked towards the tip. Fully reversible with colour blocks separated by lines of eyelet and meet in the centre using intarsia. This is an excellent beginner’s intarsia project.
This knitting pattern includes written directions, a schematic with measurements and instructions for maximizing your yarn with the help of a digital scale.

Substitution Notes
Choose a fingering weight (or sock yarn) ombré or gradient yarn in two colourways. It would also look great with two solid/tonal yarns or a solid colour paired with a gradient yarn. The yarn specified in the pattern is a single ply merino, but multi-plied yarns and a full range fibres would also be great. They key for this project is the colour choice.
Techniques
Long tail cast on, intarsia, garter stitch, kfb increases / k2tog decreases, tassels.
